Technical Gearbox mounts ?

    Gurt74

    Going through the two chassis I've got earmarked for my 35. I looked at the gearbox mounting and there different. One has the conventional rubber mounting points and the other looks like it's a solid mount ? Pic added.

    Up through 36 Ford had a rubber ring in the mount on the back of the trans's bearing retainer. If you have a 35 trans look at it and scrape off the grease. You'll see it. If you don't see it you don't have a 35 trans mount.

    No need for the biscuits at the trans until 1937.
