Hi, does any of you guys know if a GM t10 five-speed fit into a 1936 ford frame without bigger modifications, as widening the frame
    Thanks

    A T10 5 speed? Do you mean a T5?

No widening needed, but lots of trimming of the center of the X. Shouldn't need to remove any of the X rails themselves though. Depending on how far up (forward/back, up/down) you mount the engine and trans, you might even be able to leave the bottom plate alone and keep your wishbone mount.

Just make sure that you can move the trans back and down enough to get it out with having to pull the engine. If you have to remove the front sheet metal and pull the engine to get the trans out, you'll kick yourself in the ass later
