Customs Seats

was wondering what after market seats you all usee in a 41 chevy sedan........trying to ideas.....ty inadvance

was looking into conventional bench in front and back for a 41 2 dr sedan

 

We used extended cab Dodge Dakota bench seat in a 40. Cut the backs down to make them low backs. The backs fold forward on the extended cab seats but not from quad cab. Early 90s IIRC.

Rear removable mini van seat, (price was right $10.00)
Had it recovered to same style as back seat, kept it removable to service master cylinder in the floor on driver side and also the battery that I moved under the floor on the passenger side.

 

For a back seat I used on from a 97 Grand Prix, the bottom is a little narrow, i made armrests/fillers like a convertible would have. The bottom was also long for my cp so I took 6 inch’s out of rear and slide it under the top one. The top fit like a glove. Get a tape measure and hit the junkyard.

 

I have an original 40/41 chevy splitback seat available. It was a take out for one of our custom frames. Its heavy and bulky but if you or anyone else wants a great original seat frame I think we would let it go... will call only. If interested shoot me a pm and we can haggle.
