Bought it in pieces. I think it was built in 63-64. 327 tri power, turbo 400, corvette rearend, Auburn dash
Try to find history on it

The 70s photo looks a LOT like a 32 I had in 1962 and 1963 while living in Inglewood, CA going to Northrup Inst. The nerf sure is similar, but back then it had an Olds rearend, Hydro, and Pontiac power. Triumph seats, beer keg tank. It was dull red with several primer spots. If it was ever red, maybe, it sure sits like mine. I sold it to a guy named Rod Day, also in Inglewood.

Alum firewall Yes....as I recall it was like diamond plate, about 1/4" thick. I have built some race cars for dirt track, and some street rods, did not build this one, it was a straight trade for a decent 57 Pontiac 2-dr hardtop. The guy owned a Union 76 Station, was getting married. I will get a front view by tomorrow. Old Ford trailing arms also yes, and one time they broke loose at the front mounts and scattered U joint pieces all over.

Hope you can expand this and take a look....still no photo of front nerf which sure might help. But you can see the firewall.

Ron's old red truck had a Model A bed and rear fenders. The current truck has a later bed, as well as it's old pic in yellow. But, things might have been changed in between owners.
