...saw all this in last couple of weeks...

 

Saw a clean little El Camino outside the grocery store.





Tried to get all Artzy-Fartzy with the camera on my phone then suddenly realized why I'm not a professional photographer.



Anyway, we all tend to park together, don't we.

 

where were the pictures of the El Camino taken I think that'was my car I sold

Out for a drive on Route 66. Saint James and Cuba, Missouri.

 

Found this ..local car guy...thinning down the herd..I'm tempted...60,000 miles...He wants 1500.00...No rust or holes n the body...

 

You didn't happen to stop in Muttley's in St. James did you? We went through there last week on a trip to Cuba with some bumpers.

 

Wish I was a little quicker with the camera, but I saw bright red, fully restored early 40s?? Dodge COE flatbed.

 

Saw this on a short trip over to Arkansas, saw a bunch of other stuff, but wasn’t able to get pics of them. Some good hunting areas.

Damn, thats a big old tree and i would,nt park my car under it .

 

This one isn't really HAMB friendly, but it was so damn cool!

This was down on PCH in Huntington Beach.
Not sure how they get to the engine though. Must be a lid inside like what the Type III squarebacks had.

We were out and about today in 70 degree weather. It was a good time to get in some cool driving, before the possible rain storm heading down the coast from the Arctic. Despite the temperature being 70, it was chilly in the shaded areas, definitely light jacket or sweater weather. Along the coast, it was influenced by the ocean, so it was light jacket weather, for sure.

As we were discussing old cars, what did we see in front of us rolling down the street? A very nicely done 1957 Chevy two door sedan just fitting right into the traffic. It had the right stance without too much rake and the color was an interesting Grey tone.

Without looking like a tourist saying, “Look, Ma, an old Chevy…” we had about 30 seconds of discreet photograph time to get these shots.

I just could not help my self in using the outside rear view mirror. Since we used it a long time ago in our photo business and people liked the unusual look. I shoved the camera in front of my wife and took a quick photo, as she was mumbling…what the $#1& !!!
