    @wuga

This is a down and dirty version but I think you get the idea.

  5. Moose could you put the top photo's wheels on the back and the other spindle mount looking ones on the front, I guess I should have said that. Funny that I never gave it a thought that you couldn't read my mind...lol

Thanks for the work on the studebaker. Between the two of you, you nailed it.

  8. Thanks Moose, now the decision to go with those expensive front wheels or not or keep looking for something, I do like the hood cutout for sure.

    Dammit Swade,
I always have to read your posts 2 or 3 times to see what your getting to. I seem to look at the words but my mind sees Marilyn.
With your last avatar it was even worse. Sometimes I couldn't even see the words on the page for several minutes.

I’m on the fence on painting my wheels on my Prewar 29 Roadster. Could someone please show the wheels in black and maybe something else? Thanks in advance.

I think the one with slots front and back looks best, just add center caps, maybe Moose was on the rite track to begin with:D Just my .02 anyway;)

It'd help if you painted all the lower chassis and brake parts the same color -- probably black.

  18. I’m thinking about putting 57 Plymouth style hubcaps on my 50. Could someone please show me what they would look like? Thanks!

[IMG] Gosh I LOVE yer Plymouth,
Only wish Spotlights were on a shelf somewhere,
that Plymouth is so smooth !!!! ('cept fer spots )
Remember the stock Plymouth hubcaps are 14 inch... ( which with 14 inch wheels will lower yer car 1/2 inch ) ummm good crackers !!!!

  23. I have 15” wheels and those wheel covers come in 15” as well. So I AM fine with the way it sits. I personally like the spots and don’t care what others think. Thanks.

YOU CARE,!!! ( we all do )
What running gear does it have?

  25. Ha! :D:D thanks. It has what I assume is the original flat 6 with 3sp on the column but has been converted to 12v. The motor started going south so I’m putting a 50 Dodge flat 6 in it. Plan is to keep using my Edmunds Custom dual carb intake with split manifolds. Hope to put a v8 in down the road. Smallblock or early Hemi

Well, I sure like the looks of it, the way it sits, and the mild custom work.

What would it costs to own a car LIKE that one? (or a trade ? )

B83A54C3-859E-46A0-ADFF-035E52F52CF5.jpeg Moose even tho it’s always been black, I like to see our Roadster in red. The white can stay the same and the red on the strip and number can go to black... thanks JD
