I know you're a very humble guy @Ryan, but I have to say how cool it is of you to do this. Things like this are why I've been around the HAMB so long. We all argue and discuss hot rods and customs, but when it comes down to it, the HAMB is about people. A brotherhood of like-minded people hanging out and having fun. I know you were close to Gary and I'm sure you're bummed you can't attend his celebration of life. Everything happens for a reason, and it isn't for us to question. My deepest condolences to you and yours during this rough time. Take care man..........E
Indeed... and it's striking to me that effectively all of these cars still look incredible years (and decades) later despite miles of real use.
Wow out of my league $$ wise but what a treasure. Somewhere out in a box of photos I think I have photos of cars that Gary painted in the 70's that I took at events in Central Texas.
We all face hardships from time to time. But on the other hand you celebrated your daughters birthday!
Looks like @Moriarity is the winner? Congrats! Fitting home for one for sure. I picked one up at the show and have been looking at the old paint drips on it trying to imagine if any of them match any of the cars I can think of he painted. Maaaaaaybe some red from Gary's "Tramp" '52 Ford?
All those cars look great but I think that purple Mercury is the nicest car I've ever seen in my life and I've seen a lot. I really enjoyed the black Caddy also but the Mercury AAA+++
