    Tig is certainly the preferred way. A lot of us do not have that as an option. Awhile back, a Hamb member said that when he is tacking or spot welding with the mig he snips the little ball off the end of the wire. Does this between every tack weld. It cuts down on the amount of wire deposited on the weld which makes for less grinding. I have not tried it yet but it made sense to me.

    Unfortunately Bear was killed in a car accident earlier in the year.
