I was looking for the old threads about gas pumps and it seems most of the images were posted with photobucket and are ether missing or blurred to the point where the photo is useless. I know a lot of you guys have the early visible pumps and the more conventional electric pumps of the 50's & 60's. Lets see what you have. HRP
My Flying A gas pump with my Model A pickup, had to put the Sinclair magnetic sign on the pickup because of the color.
Here's mine. As soon as I can dig it out of the storage locker and clean it up a bit it will be proudly displayed.
I have only 3 pumps left, had 12 at one time, all different, including 2 Fry MayWest 10 gallons! had a backyard swap meet once, sadly needed money, there's no going back in time darn!

Here's my Gilbarco pump. I got it at a farm auction. I was the only bidder, so I got it for $25! Fortunately the auctioneer had a forklift there because it weighs a ton with all the guts still in it. I plan on fixing it up. I keep it next to the charger for my d.d. Chevy Bolt. I have a question for the real pump collectors. Is there any value to the internals? It sure would be easier to move without them.
The service station in my hometown donated this pump to the local rescue squad many years ago. They used it for diesel.( that's where the green paint came from.) I added the plate, it came out of an old dump site.the pump already had the screw holes in it, the plate lined up perfect.
