  1. I just ran across a 60 Edsel Ranger
its roached with a rotted roof but has a cool look and at scrap price might be fun to cut up
    into something like this

Been trying to buy one that's been sitting outside at a farm near me for years. It's got bad floors, & still not for sale.

  5. In 1962 my Dad traded a red 2 door hard top 60 starliner in on a 57 corvette. No pics of the ford have been found, but i have the sales receipt for the trade! I love the 60 61's, 61 a bit more.

Had a 61 Ford Statliner. Also had a 65 and 67 GTO but the Starliner is the one car I wish I could have back. It was the 390, 300 hp version huge by today’s standards but oh what a car. Had it while a senior in high school and got it with all my savings plus a small loan from my parents which I paid back in one year. A lot of memories with the car, black with red interior bought it with only 1650 miles on odometer.

In '61 dad was shopping for a second car. Us four kids were lobbying hard for a Chesapeake Blue Starliner. Nope, not safe with that big back window. Ever the practical man, he chose a black (for mom) four door Galaxie, 292, Fordomatic. Still think the Starliners are good looking car.

Found this magazine last week, describes it as a big hairy 352.
    Car weighed 4,161 pounds
    4.89:1 with overdrive @ 3.49
Ran 152.2 mph on the oval
    15.3 on the strip.

I was hoping to see some custom wagons. Always liked them, but hardly ever see them.

I have heard there is a 61 lurking around my area with a Cammer in it . I have not seen it to date , but a few Buds have told me about it . If I run across it I’ll be sure to get some photos . They are the red head stepchild of Ford big bodies .

Here is one I had in 1972. It was a pile, it had 3/4" of bondo in the left rear quarter and the 352 was't getting oil to the rockers. But I only paid $35.00 for it and 3 years later sold it for $250.00.
