Fun! Small correction, it's a 33 sedan. Also, the shots from the in car footage, looks like a 37 dash... crazy hollywood types think we wouldn't notice!
That was great @Jive-Bomber! I'm sure Bruce would have loved it! So much to take in for such a short clip. W.C. Fields was a treasure--his way of saying lines was (and still is) like no other. Fun to see all the great old cars (then new or nearly new) as well as a beautiful Los Angeles that has since fallen into decay. So sad! Also, how about the folks that did many of the stunts? That was when REAL men (and women) had to really do the action shots and it wasn't all computerized junk like all the movies have today. It just goes to show that old times were better! E
The driving skills and timing is phenomenal in this sequence. I recall that one of Abbott and Costello's films made in the late '40's used some of this clip at the climax of the movie. A truly fun watch over and over. John
