Technical Need 1956 F100 Hood Support

I am new here and seeking help! I am in the process of building a 1956 F100 Big Window and I am looking for the Hood Support that runs across the back of the hood that you connect the shoulder bolts onto. The hood has been modified to have a 3 " rake and it does not have the back support bar.

Does anyone know of a company that makes hoods that might sell just that part or anyone with an old hood in poor condition that does not need the support any longer?

The new hoods are being made in China, I'm guessing getting a new brace would be next to impossible.

Where are you located. I have some old hoods in my hoard.

 

Yea where ya at? I may sell my whole hood.Not great but that part is good.Would do it right now for you if I had a good complete replacement hood.

 

I have a hood from a 54, not sure if same as 56. Quite a bit of rust along the front so I wouldn't feel bad cutting out that support. Where are you?
