Somewhere in the back of my mind, I remember that MECHANIX ILLUSTRATED had plans for a similar A-based car in the mid-fifties.

I have to agree with B.O., a very uninspiring design with nothing but FLAT panels. The only thing really interesting about the car, is the history.

And forget a hot rod version. Very few people (if any) would realize it is a recreation of this car, because of it's obscurity. I'm afraid it would end up looking like 100s of other "homemade" woodies out there that miss the mark, design wise. JMO
