Got the engine out again, waiting for parts. Getting ready to go though it to make sure its put together the way I want this time. Hope to be able to get the parts machined and get it back on the road in January.

What are you asking? I'm doing a T but a lot of my friends up around here are working on A/B stuff.

put this Thomas head on about a year ago. It does not feel like much more or less power than the 7:1 Lion head it replaced, but it is a lot nicer to look at.

What makes you think it's stock or will stay that way.

It’s stock now because the guy pulled it from his car. It will have 3/4 cam, sharp heads and sharp dual intake with 97s on top. Lake headers also.

Got the old plate glass windshield replaced in my ccpu- all the metal in the hinge/frame/header area is pristine. Tiny little pits under the center header brace and that's it. The upper cab corners were brazed a long time ago. Pretty cool. I'll get the doors lined up and bolt everything together this weekend then I can do the top and start hopping up the banger!

Koolbeans, looks like a Hildebrandt. O'Brien truckers makes a repro that takes a spin on filter inside of it.

Checking in for the month. Not much new with me. I will get started in freshening up the brakes and steering on my roadster later this month. Also going to help a friend put a Mitchell OD unit in his roadster. One exciting thing is I got asked to put my coupe in the Denver Timing Association show Burning Rubber Through Time on the 16th of November. I was honored they would ask me. Check out the show if you are in the Denver area. [IMG]

Standard threads are cut that is material is removed. Rolled threads they are formed kind of like forging.

Rolled threads are better for any thread. Google it. Thanks John, I will let him know.

    John,
Good deal! See you there or that is the current plan and Rick is going to be there too.
I'm taking the T and hoping the weather is not like last week.
