I was always impressed by the 40's MOPAR business coupes, fat fenders, long nose big ass trunk, my 47 dodge has a butterfly hood, to me its a piece of art and a time machine as well.

  4. I am lucky enough to have almost every car that inspired me as a kid still in the garage today. My grandfather had sold Taboo right before I was born and when I was about 4 or 5 I found a picture of the car and instantly was hooked and its been on my bedroom wall since then as I have always view the car as one of the best looking customs ever. Then my 33 Ford pickup has always been around and that truck fueled my love for 32-34 fords. Still dreaming of having a 32 coupe or roadster someday.

Thanks! I REALLY did not need another project, but I saw it, thought of Moreland's car, and the price was right. Actually purchased from another HAMB member. You can see the origins if you search here for "Buckeye Barn Find".

This is my first Hot Rod. All of my others have been mid 60's Fords (no Mustangs).

This is what happens when somebody rolls up with the 15oz Coupe on a trailer and parks in front of your house for about an hour. Should have been a quarantine situation, but noooo... I had to go out and touch it. Caught that bug quick (technically re-infected). But it's OK. I have treatment plan in my garage now.

I always loved 40 Fords. So while looking for one twenty years ago I came across my 41 coupe. Fell in love with that fat ass and had to have it. Snowman

My 32 Ford I had 39 years ago when I was 19, and a 29 Essex I was building an engine for lately.

Two of the cars that inspired my Merc Wagon were the May Cause Dangerous Starliner, and Watson's T-Bird.

Both of those cars took full advantage of the great factory body lines and made everything better with a top notch paint job. Something I tried to do with my Monterey Wagon.

  24. What car or cars inspired you to have what you have today? That is the question. While I can’t remember what vehicle originally inspired me these days it’s something like this. IMG_0778.JPG
