  6. That has been posted before. I think it was stated that the coupe was a fiberglass car.

I think that photo of that coupe has been around longer than I have been on the HAMB. It shows up on FB about once a year for a few days.

Ron, a friend of ours tried for years to buy a '40 Buick "C" bodied Super 4 door. The farmer wouldn't sell it because it was mouse tight, and he stored his chicken feed in it.

  15. My kid's 49 Ford coupe was driven into a chicken pen and left with the windows down. Stayed there for less than a year before we liberated it. Jeremyshubox11_14.jpg

His buddies told him he could get some hot chicks in a car like that but I don't think he understood.

NASCAR's Bill Elliot's older brother Ernie started out in a shop converted from a chicken house once used to raise chickens, and quite a bit larger than a coop, up near Dawsonville, GA. Went up there several times back in he late '60s & early '70s getting dirt track engines balanced, etc. the shop only had a concrete floor in the part where the engine machine tools and other precision work was done. Bill's first race car, a '56 Ford tudor with a 300 cid I-6 "Hobby" class car was built in that shop
In the late '50s I was a "gopher" for an older friend's race team and we built a race car for oval tracks using a '34 3 wdw Ford we found actually being used as a chicken coop.

It could be a SB but I don't think so. It looks much nicer than a SB.. But thanks for the thought as it does finally answer the question I've always wondered. What is the best use for a SB??:(:(

SB kits had the fenders molded into the body, all as one piece, in all of them I have seen.

Your right. I saw, what I was told by their factory rep, the first one out of their production facility in Florida,........ at the New York auto show in 1989. The thing wasn't even a close copy of a real 34 . Dimensionaly (SP)? it resembled something Big Daddy Roth would dream up. Still does. I talked with an owner of one this year and he was complaining that the "pop rivets" were pulling out of his doors.
"POP RIVETS" ???????????? Wondered if he was following the pictured factory instructions. Oh well to each his own. He loves it and that's the counting factor. :)
