  2. As far as trades go if my son didn't love the t-bucket I trade that for for 30-31 Tudor sedan, I'm not as limber as I once was.
My 41 Chevy p/u as a roller, because I'm not giving up that blown 540, for a 38 Chevy coupe gasser to put that bad boy engine in.
Maybe trade the 51 Henry J for a 40-41 Willys coupe, gasser style.
The 57 Chevy p/u I haven't even built and experienced yet but possibly a 57 GMC or a 57 barn door suburban.
My off topic shovelhead for maybe a 70-72 Cutlass or another 86-87 turbo Buick
Hmmm how the mind wonders on what you may or may not like to have.

I'm probably the only one here that would trade for the same car for the car I thought it could and should be as I was building it. Its just a guess, but I'd bet most home builds, (that's most), get scrimped on in places because of money or talent, or we fight some gremlin(s) along the way and finally just say, "close enough)" I'd love to have the $$$$$ to give it to a shop like the Kindig-it boys and work with them to get it to what I dreamed it would be. Sounds a little bit strange HRP, but that is the only car I'd trade for unless it was The LiL-Coffin.
Opps Just saw willys36 said the same about keeping is car.

Here is my Sedan and a few 32s I'm digging. I don't need shinny paint jobs and I don't mind if it's not finished since I realize they are worth more.

My barn full of major never will get to projects for empty barn space! That way I could finish the barn off so I have a place to store the cars I want to keep and not have to spend money to build a whole other garage and have room in my shop to work on them! lol Larry

HYq2SbttQgeNAfh%02YAZQ.jpg The only thing I'd take in trade for my 60 Pontiac would be for a 66-67 Nova. No Streetrods, Boats or Livestock.

    Good thread idea!
I would trade my '53 for a nice early '60s Lincoln 4-door. Maybe something else early '60s.

  22. I am a little shy about trading my Crosley. I would but it would have to be something really special.
Like a 63/4 Corvette Stingray (roof or no roof), perhaps a '64 Chevelle (roof only but post or no post) or a '65 El Camino ( all must be stick cars but motor optional).

I could probably list a couple of others that I like but lets keep the lost short. And to be perfectly clear I really want to finish and drive the crosley.

  23. @Elcohaulic I really like the '66. We had a ton of fun in a '66 389 car when I was young. Quick question was '66 the only year with the louvered tail lights? I am just not Mr GTO I am afraid.

  24. My buddy has a 59 Chevy sedan delivery that I've been wanting for prolly 25 years or more. The other day I saw him and asked about it again and he casually mentioned that he wants my 57 210 wagon. Problem now is that my wife loves the wagon and I haven't been able to sell her on the 59.

  25. When young and before money, I traded a 225 Gibson Guitar for a 53 Buick Skylark, then I traded a 4 Poster Bed for a 40 Pontiac coupe with a 57 Olds engine, traded it to a friend for an upholstery job and a top for the 53 Skykark, and many more other trades before money. JW I would trade my current 39 Ford tub for this tub, Ray Vega 1938 Ford Valley Custom Shop tub

Wow I don't think I've ever said that. Every time I get something I see something else I want. I think I have Car Acquisition Syndrome. (C.A.S.)

I don't know if I'd trade that for a Nova. That car is sweet. I love the bubbletop but I'm bias because I have a 66 Catalina. I'd give you my 1929 Ford for it.
