Art & Inspiration Fall color pics

I went by this tree about a week ago, and it was gorgeous. I was going to take the '51 up the next day, but it was raining and windy. When I finally got back on a nice day, the trees had diminished a lot. Oh well, It's what I got.

Here's one of my old '36 with better trees.

Just snapped this one today.

 

Nice shots, we had what amounted to a leaf storm here when the wind blew most of the fall colored leaves off the trees Friday and yesterday. I was going to one of my photo spots along the river and all the leaves were blowing across the road.

I saw this truck at a local machinery show, it was bought new to work on a local farm. it is low mileage, no rust truck that is now being cared for by the grandson of the original owner. a friend of mine bought the farm and found the original plates in the attic of the garage that were on the truck. they have a photo of the truck with the plates from back in the day. my friend gave the plates to the grandson so he can use them on the truck.

Went driving today in search of fall colors, all the leaves are gone but some yellow tamaracks in the mix...

I'm planning on a road trip this weekend. We should be at our peek by then. So I hope to be taking some cool shots.

 

Been cooped up in the house all week with a head cold. Feeling better today, had beautiful weather, and it’s pretty much my last day of driving for the season. Plates expire for the winter on Thursday, and they’re calling for rain all week.

We have a lot of corn fields out here, so lots of brown, not a lot of colour. Headed south to some state parks for some scenery.



Got about 3” of rain yesterday, so the river is up pretty high. Parking lot here is partially flooded.
