I got a bunch of rod bearings today, just wondering if they have any value? I am not sure if they are all for flat heads. If I sell them should I sell all together or separate? Thanks

How much time do you want to spend messing with them? If you want to spend a lot of time, sell them as sets. If you want to get rid of them, sell them all together, for not as much money.

Your big problem will be finding someone that needs .002 under bearings.

Yeah, and some of them are standard. Probably not too many flat heads left standard.

  5. I do not think that the Clausen or the Federal Mogul ones are for a flathead. At least they do not match the part numbers which I have for those brands. Your best bet is to sell the whole lot to someone who deals in flathead parts. There will be folks out there who can use these bearings.

I think you just ran into the same problem the guy that sold them to you had and the guy before him .

  7. Looks just like the box of "stuff" I got when the local Ford dealer moved out of their old building... in 1970. Still have them on the shelf...

  8. some place I have a big box of slipper flathead rod bearings. Ya know the one's made to spin in the rods

  9. The S5102,,,and the 5102.
What are they and what model do they fit?
Some of us are not quite up on the numbers yet.
A little info goes a long way.
