You did a great job! Very cool kustom!

  3. Depending on what you were doing polished copper would look great.

Sorry no pics friends 54 had vette bar & teeth always like, he passed father has car stored. Be different, top & bottom tube with few knobs in middle or one side tube few knobs on side. Draw or pic your front end with colors then play with design & matching or contrast colors until u like. Then build to suit you

  8. The pull rules.

Draw- pull styles are good fun, look great when done right, and throw (pull?) your car straight outta the modern world. I have a little idea to share. I'll draw it up.

These are rim anchors off floor toms & kick drums from old drum kits. I found some of these old toms on the roadside and for low bucks in garage sales. There are 16 of 'em on a kick (bass) drum. 12 on a tom. Yes, they have an ugly hole, but I can live with that (the symettry overides it for me)..
They have a double philips screw mount on the back. Easy- peasy.

I see this as a temporary frosted plastic insert, over your street tube grille.

  12. @pbr40 Hey Phil, post a pic of the front of the 54. That might help your mission. I still vote for vette bar and teeth! Lol

Here's a tube grille on a Mopar. I like the use of small and large tubes, but not a fan of the give-up on making a custom replacement for the factory corner pieces.

That’s a cool vette but I always thought the front looked too “droopy “. While it isn’t really a drawer pull grille the 58 Buick grille in my vette kinda has that look
