67938610_146094146606696_5954339630333884220_n.jpg Ever since I can remember I've been drawing. Mostly cars unless my art teachers said other wise. I do it when I have an idea or just want something car related, but either can't afford it or just to practice so I don't loose it. Either way, I would like to share with y'all some of my work. Nothing fancy, and thanks for looking.

Great mix, do you know about the Friday Art Show (FAS)? Search for FAS, it will give you an idea of the artistes that are on here. Great work, Carp.

Excellent work. Let me second the recommendation that you join the Friday Art show threads. One of the artists starts it every Friday and members add to it through the weekend and even into the week.

@Sculptive Design Co., A belated welcome to the Hamb.

I am an Artist among a significant number of other incredible Talents (many Quite Accomplished) here who revere the whole Hotrod/Custom scene and look and depict it from its visually interesting offerings...

You have been gifted with a very artistic hand...They are quite beautiful...I really like the skirted fenders. Hotrod has definitely dabbled in this and been influenced from many other modes of the transportation. I see those skirted fenders that remind me of the Indian Motorcycle and yeah...awesome and interesting...just by your inspiration alone I wonder if this concept ever made it to the road...I know Harley fenders did...Personally I'd say Yes...just an opinion of course.

Anyways Stogy's getting long winded...get your stuff onto the Artshow and Welcome again...I'd say You pretty much Hambed it content wise, 67 is just out of the ballpark...we all have to be aware of the rules even in light of the fact it's Art...will it float, it's not my call but I don't push the boundaries to avoid disappointment...I always remember 1965 and prior to, gives one plenty of ammunition for creative juices even if its inspired...

...the link above is the most recent Friday Art Show...put a few of your works in...as said it is always open...even after Friday passes as alluded.

Beautiful rendering of the '37 V8 60 tube axle on the 3/4 view of the '25 T roadster in #7!
BOTH 'T' roadster drawings showed a fidelity to scale, just excellent work.
    You are 'gifted'...

@Sculptive Design Co., I like yourself have a love of Drawing but have been caught in the vortex of the computer and find myself while enjoying threads I get wrapped around complimentary visions which I present as inspirations...Not orders to do so but inspirations to assist in the visions and possibly influence.

@ClarkH's Speedster was an acquired vision from the past and had Cycle fenders either incorporated or on the ready back in the day. Like you I had a vision and presented this Skirted Vision and several others. Albeit Computer Born the vision and concept are like yours very plausible and I think pretty darn Cool and a joy to see...

Again pleasure to talk with you and share the Gospel as Ryan puts it...and I look forward to your Visions moving forward...

Sculptive, any Hotrods or Customs in your Stable?
Geez if I had to pick the Skirt Fendered, Belly Panned Modded T Coupe would be a helluva starting point...;)

Thank yall for the warm welcomes.

    Thanks Mike!

    Stogy,

Thank you for those very nice words. The skirted fendered T is a passion project of mine. Its a nod to the cars of the early Bonneville cars. (Stutz Black Hawk Special) If you look at the belt line to the frame its a 23-25 T roadster body and the top would be removal. (Two cars in one). This is because I have limited space for two cars. With that said, I do have parts waiting. Stock/complete model A frame, 46-48 59AB Flathead V8, 39 three speed top loader 78 case, 28-29 radiator, etc. Here are some more rendering on my passion project. With all the regards to tradition but the a tiny bit of cross pollination between landspeed and street hot rods of the late 40's to the mid 50's. These drawings below are all correct proportions to there real life counterparts. I want to build the hot rod correct the first time. :) Thanks for looking.

    I Love the Hamb...;)

@Sculptive Design Co....Boy do we have something down the hoop to look forward to...The Skirted Panned 'A'......I think that is what it is, is equally interesting... Frank Kurtis did some wild stuff like that way back in the 30s alongside his Racing Builds

    Yes he did.
Everything has been done before. So why not do something somewhat different (within reason) but to pay homage and respect to the past. For me its something about original parts and bias ply tires. But for now, its a waiting game. (Just bought a house.)

Congrats and look forward to your further artistic and mechanical offerings to what may have been...You have a great focus on the big picture...it was Vast, Creative and Visually Interesting

I have started a Thread for Artists and their Inspirations for their Canvas's. Those Canvas's may be a Photograph, Painting, Drawing, Digital, any number of Mediums but at the end of the Day an Artistic View of a Hotrod/Custom...that exists or did exist...

It's really interesting because many builders are their own Artist all in one no Illustration but just an end result...but you are an Artist and a Builder...I still Firmly believe Hotrod/Custom is a form of Art as as much as purpose built is tossed around.

But to have an Artistic Vision complimenting the Real Deal is part of the story in many cases...I have showcased many Artist's work as I have been moved by their work...here already but encourage anybody Artistically motivated that there is another avenue to share here.

So another option for presentation of your Work @Sculptive Design Co. at the link below...

Haha, your too kind. I guess the little voice in my head telling me I can do better. Now to make one of these T's a reality.

Me too! I think I have something I can share.

Don't temp me, haha! Just moved in to a new house. So my Model A project is just waiting and I'm just collecting body panels for the moment.

    Thanks!

The fun thing about drawing is pushing myself. But ultimately to draw out a future project and seeing if it's something I want to build before investing lots of money and time.
