I haven't assembled the grill yet, but I bought a hundred pulls on Egay real cheap. Lots cheaper than the hardware store

Obviously, the drawer pull grille is harder to get right, but when you do, it works nice.

How 'bout some custom side trim, Ala Johnny Taylor's incredible '58 Ford?

I get we all have opinions! But that’s not what I was asking for. I am asking for guys that have built or own a tube and or pull knob grille. There are plenty of cars that win awards that I don’t care for. But I keep moving on! It’s easy to give a negative opinion on something you don’t like or care for. With that being said I’m not here to impress anyone. That’s why we all built cars to make them our personal own.

Knob grilles done right look old school cool. Most tube grilles are a little boring.

Do you have a few 57 Chevy hoods lying around. Do you have a better pic @Sancho. 2019-10-21_192355.jpg

  10. I couldn't find any really good photos of the grill.
I lightened this one up some:

My truck had one for a couple years before I found a set of the stock grille bars.

Plain and simple is much better than bling and gaudy.

Chromed copper tubing and sheet metal were used to form the grille on Ted Leventhal's Chevy (notable for the first-ever Candy paint job).

Though not to my liking, you can see the Bailon influence in this Shoebox Ford.

Copper tubing? Easy to chrome! So would you solder copper sheet metal to mount it off of?
