    Geez Enloe,
I was just joshing you a bit.
I really like your Vette. The wheels are traditional to my high school days. M/T Raiders?

Sorry if you deleted it on my account :(

  5. Well ... I hit the search function, for both "Robert Yoas", & the "1962 GNRS Corvette" ... and came up blank, but I'm sure someone will come up with 6.5 dozen pictures of this from the HAMB >>>

    Screenshot_20191021-132104_Chrome.jpg

GNRS 1962. The 1957 Corvette Of Robert Yoas extended front fenders ... 12 Inches & extended rear by 6 inches. Low set headlights, with candy crimson paint on the body, & candy gold covers & roof. Other features included chromed & reversed wheels, & removable quarter windows in the top.

... and apologies if Loudbang already has an extensive file with these cars on here ... I'm not going thru 176 pages on 9% battery !! :D

Thank you Rik Hoving, and the appropriately placed ... Larry Watson Photo Collection.

Oh ... and thank you Loudbang !! Haha

$68,000 is stupid money. For what?

  13. That's the "I got it, you want it" price. Quite frankly, I'm a little surprised that it's not more.

This car has been for sale for a while. I like the car and would love to own it but I have enough junk. Happy that it has stayed a drag car and hope it continues to help future generations see that there was more to the history of the car than the showroom models that make up most shows. Not sure he is in a hurry to sell it at the price but if it had some real history the price would be even more. If I owned it though I would love to run it down the track.

As much as I like the nice drag cars, when I saw Jeff's black 60 (with the blue top) at this years Glory Days event I found it would be more fun to run them if they were not "so perfect" in terms of body and paint. Jeff's car is perfect IMO.

Sorry for the crappy photo of my car with Jeff's car-only pic I took.. photo.JPG

Pat, John's 62 is now running in the 9s. I am not sure how deep he has gone but he keeps going quicker. A really bad ass 62.
