Cut some coils to lose the nose bleed attitude on my car. Very conservative as the aim is to have a reasonably good roadholding / handling car for the STREET (which where I live sometimes has potholes, ruts etc. etc.). I may or may not shorten them a bit more. Coil spring compressor which was based on designs I saw on the web made things pain free.

Silver soldered power steering line on my tractor, that rubbed thru after some dumb ass routed them wrong when they replaced it sometime in the past, so it will be ready to move that white shit that will be coming before too long.

  15. Last night I decided at last minute to do a swap meet an hour away, so at midnight I was loading my truck with the most accessible "can live withouts".

    20191018_220537.jpg 20191018_222921.jpg

Today I loaded it all back in the garage because it was a bust, maybe a dozen vendors and a handful of looky lews put me into the loss column on this go around.

  18. Just sold eight wheels for 300 euro to a guy from Antwerp, Belgium. Had them up in the garage attic for at least 15 years. Paid at least a tenner each back then . I remember selling the used grabber tires for 80 euros to a guy who was shipping tires to Suriname.

Illinois Valley toys for tots cruise today in Princeton. Met up with some friends first and convoyed out and back. Beautiful day, perfect weather, nice scenery, and for a good cause.

Lots of OT cars involved, of course, but saw some cool old stuff too.

Went with a friend to test drive a 59 Morris Minor panel van. If you can call something that little a van. Got a picture, but it's buried in my phone for now. I had to ride in the back and got kinda scared out on the highway.

Were those an aftermarket wheel or come factory on something?
They reminded me of a factory 70s ford truck wheel but after a look I see they arent......could of been Dodge or ???
over here, possibilities are endless.......the two at the upper left are a little more unique looking as I dont think Ive ever saw any that has a ridge that stands out around the edge of the center of the wheel like that.
