Technical 1934 flathead auto lite heater?

Anyone know what year car this heater fits?it is nos or a early take.were these factory or dealer installed.thanks for any info you could give.chris

Looks like an aftermarket exhaust heater for a Flathead Ford. Probably fits many years.

 

I took the same brand, but with a straight outlet inside the cab, from a 35/6 firewall.

 

I'd be careful handling that cloth piece as you can be 99.999 % sure it is made of asbestos.
I'd say that the guys are correct in that it is aftermarket or dealer installed.

I got curious and did some research on Autolite. They weren't purchased by Ford until 1961.
