    Thanks.

Its a ubolt elimination style setup. Somewhat visible in this photo. Besides the visible tabs, there is a matching plate under the spring pack.

Took a while to get the body blasted. No surprises. Solid body with a couple small patches. Since patch panels typically aren't the best fit, I'll make my own. Some progress photos.

I have an idea of where you cut your subrails at the front to spread your firewall but I’d love to see some pictures if you have any. Thanks in advance!

I don't have any photos, but it was a few inches back from the front end but still under the toeboard. I'm going by memory, but I'm pretty sure thats where it is.

  15. Here is a pic of a 31 firewall sliced for spreading. Might give you another idea perhaps.

46.5" if I remember correctly. The SoCal hangers put the shackle right at the edge of a 16" rim. Anything greater than 46.5" would hit the rim (5" backspace).

48.5” was the stock width on my stock axle. I was just unable to go that wide. As long as the shackles are between parallel (to the ground) and 45* you should be fine.

running a panhard bar helps too.

90% done with the firewall. Probably was as much time and effort as a chop. I had to widen the bottom about an inch, leaving the top stock. Also included some shots of the firewall feet area.

Some updates. Not sure why I'm doing this. Seems like the hamb is a ghost town these last few months.
