Does anyone have any pics of a 53 ford custom line (car) not truck without a front bumper. My uncle runs his 57 without a bumper and it looks awesome. I wonder how mine would look. But if I can see a pic before I break bolts it would be nice. Thanks

Oooooooo. I like that a lot. I don’t think it would look good on a street car tho

  6. Back in the 60's it was common to take the front bumper off, I removed the front bumper from my '54 Ford and never put it back on.

It was seen a lot more on the '55-56 Chevy's.

If you decide to run a front bumper make sure it's for a '52/ '53 the '54 Ford front bumper is shaped different and will not line up with your front splash apron. HRP

I already have the front bumper. It’s on the car. I just wanted to know what it looks like before I take it off and break the mounting bolts

Soak the bolts with penetrant for a few days . that will give you time to think about it.
Take the bumper off if you are going for the street gasser look. Build a nerf bar if you are worried about bumping into something.

More “gassers” need 8 lug full floating rear axles
