First pictures of the 37 Chevy Pickup I used for my Custom Kingcab build and one of my 58 Chevy cars after body work and paint.

And most recently, a 35 coupe that I had a look at while coming home from Thanksgiving. The highway was shut down due to an accident, and I'd been staring at it for over an hour on the trailer ahead of me.

Nor-Cal - just saw coverage on local TV station (KCRA 3 4:05PM 10/18) about a '32 Ford being transported on an open trailer by a pick-up truck that was involved in a crash on HWY 80, Rocklin, CA
    - have no other details

How about towing from Winstead, CT back to Detroit with Ralph Nader's Corvair on the trailer? The car was donated to Ralph's Law Museum in Winstead (his hometown) and he asked me to "help him sell his Corvair". I'm a helpful guy so I bought it from him!! DSCN2197.JPG

    Delivery.jpg At Cody's.jpg

It was a bit of a relay. Bought the 50 from California & had it shipped to the Washington while I sorted out exporting it to Canada. The first picture is the first time I saw the car in person coming off of the shippers truck. The second is a borrowed truck from work to go through it & make sure it would pass an inspection. (Inspection was needed to be able to be registered for the first time in BC)

  21. Most of the cars I've bought over the years have been some what local and can drive (maybe shouldn't though :)). Here are 2 I have on the computer, my friends Merc (early 2000's) and my girls Stude (a few yrs ago) both with my moms truck as I'm too lazy to be bothered putting a hitch on mine. I going to have to do something soon as her truck is going to get sold and my panel needs some more power to tow up hills.

I’m guessing late twenties Chrysler’s, or Plymouth’s . Looks like a Chrysler Imperial up front.

My 32 cabriolet came in on this rig from Spokane, WA to Smithfield, VA.
Dangest rig I'd ever seen! The top of the front raised up about 2 feet!
The row of cars in the bottom picture were all taken off this rig in order to get to mine.
Please forgive the pic of just the hauler but I thought y'all would want to see the whole thing.
It was something. Just the driver by himself!!:) Talked a bit funny but sure knew how to operate his rig.;)

Here's my Austin when it was delivered. Considering the size of the car, it probably could have been delivered in the back of a regular pickup with an 8' bed with the tailgate open. Scan-180702-0001.jpg

My 41pu went bang. Friend towed me home. On a rope. In the rain.

    Oh what joy.
