    Nice job taking out the dually in the back ground, Next would be the trailer wheels changed,then perfect

    nice shots bill! lovin' the black and white terry! my crew is my brother scott(cowboy hat) and dad jack. dad purchased the engine in my car from a gm dealership in '63 and raced at tracks like sacto, lodi, and vaca valley in the 60's early 70's. definately a family airloom...

    Time for some new photo's to the thread.Been driving it alot and gettin some racing in too.Drove it from Sacramento to San Francisco for Jimmy's Old Car picnic and raced it at Kingdon drags. I think the little car forgot it started with 13" wheels and tires. 7500 miles on the build so far

    Thanks Rocky, the frame connectors are from Global West with alittle added for the Lakewood ladders to mount to. Bolted in first then welded

    Normally I would have to say that I like the '66-'67 Chevy II body style a little better but, when they are set up as a gasser the earlier body style looks like the designers at Chevrolet knew that's how they were supposed to be. Man, I love the way your car is turning out. Clean and simple.

    My first 'ground up' Hot Rod was a 62 Nova with a home-built sub frame setup much like yours... BUT NOWHERE NEAR SO NICE.....:D:D:DIn 1974...SUPER JOB!!!

    he Bill what is the lenght of your axel 46 0r 48 found a 2nd owner black 63 ss convertable 43k miles friday nite at a cruise trying to stike a deal thanks

    Thank you all for the kind words. I used a 48" cause with the skinny's and no backspacing on the front wheels it gives it the right look,

    Thanks guys, It's been a fun little car. 3 or 4 years now, Got about 9-10k miles on the build so far. Still happy with it.

    I miss the Nova, I sold it to a Museum and its been on display now for 5 years or more. they even bought a the Okie Doker '57 Chevy the Nova raced, and they built a display and recreated the photo of the race
