Glad there is more Caddy stuff coming out:D But my butt is starting to pucker just thinking of the cost of those...o_O I think my budget is calling for Smiths adjustable push rods. I already have too much cash involved in just core Caddy parts. But WTF , its a bucket list item...

I believe Harland Sharp out of Ohio makes & sells roller rockers for the early Cadillacs.

I went to Harland Sharps site and didn't see anything Cadillac related . I suppose just because they don't list it doesn't mean they don't make it. I use Harland Sharp rockers all the time and I love em:cool:

Anyone know if the rotating assembly out of a 62 390 will drop into a 57 365 block?

I would think so. Never tried it, but basically they are the same block.

FYI guys, I have spoken with several of the cam manufacturers and the cam blanks for the 365 and 390's are drying up. I know Schneider has a banner on their website stating that they have the last cam blanks available. Not 100% correct, but probably close.

I just ordered mine from Bullet Cams and they said they had 4 more after mine.
Bullet Cams core # is 114600.
    Comp Cams Core # C94-4A
    Howards Cams Core #529996

Just thought you might want to get one ordered if you have been procrastinating like me.

Also, I spoke with Harland Sharp this week and they said they would build me a set of roller rockers for around $400-500.

Which valve covers are you going to run with these?

  20. That seems a really good price on those rockers....is that with stands as well? Anyone else have any experience of these, I'm looking for a roller set up for my motor and really like the look of the Ross set up, just wonder how these compare.
    Thanks,
    Jim.

He told me that was using all the original Caddy pieces. I am waiting on a call back from him as we speak.

  23. I'd be interested to know what he's says on that....I read in an old Allard tech article that those guys were having problems with rocker stands cracking on race motors. I guess they're pushing those motors to high rpm for a sustained amount of time so might explain why possibly. That said those castings seem pretty chunky so I'm surprised they've had issues with them, I think it was a harmonics issue from memory.

Oh wow! I thought my Willcap adapter was expensive......and it was but the quick time scatter shield is not cheap! The extra protection is nice though!

  29. I was lucky with mine to....managed to pick up an early trans-dapt adapter to run a cad lassalle behind my motor. It's still on its way to me but from what I can see is a nice bit of kit.

The trick is to get your original cam ground, or a welded regrind
