After selling my old roadster, I had been on the search for a driver 40 coupe or Tudor. I have been collecting parts for a coupe project that I've been holding on to for years, and had EVERYTHING to build it, but I figured at my age, it might not get done. This cupcake popped up on here, and seemed to be calling me. Rebuilt 59AB, open drive tranny, Mav rear and everything you could get from C.E. for a 40, including the dropped axle. Been sitting with only 5800 miles on the clock since it was done. Maybe Santa will bring some steelies and caps. Just waiting on Bills Auto Works to bring it to me. I'm giddy. Bravo, good value for your money, proof again that the cars from the 40's are very cool and very desirable! Just my opinion.
Thanks for the encouraging words. Hopefully will have it in a couple of weeks. Bill is on vacation this week, and has commitments ahead of me.

I got introduced to hot rodding at about 15 years old. Kid down the street had just gotten a black '40 coupe. He didn't have a license either so we just sat in the car for hours on end. We would occasionally sneak around the alleys and he would show me how he could get second gear rubber. I was hooked.
I've driven my '40 only 203 days so far this year. Something about hopping in and going someplace in it makes me very happy! Congrats on your new ride!
