Technical 6V Distributor Hop up

I’m looking for a new distributor to replace my stock Model A one. I have a 6 volt set up and love it. I go to TROG every year and want one that has a centrifugal advance or vacuum advance so I can actually race my 4 banger next year.

I would love some recommendations since I haven’t found whah I have been looking for. Thanks!

Mallory made 'em. They show up on eBay from time to time. I never used one on a banger, but they are all I use on flathead's, Rocket's, and hemi's.

 

If you can't find a Mallory, a Model B distributor is an upgrade from the A.

 

I run a Model B distributor in my '31 Coupe. Centrifucal advance. Works well. Will put one on my '31 Roadster pickup too.

Do some research for running the B dist on an A engine as they are timed differently. My Coupe has a B engine. Timing pin hole in timing cover is in a different location.
