Sacramento, CA Swap

 

Saw this yesterday (Sunday) and not at a drag strip.

 

I would have thought it would have a flat top, no fins. I knew they were available but I've never seen one

b-t-w; in case any of you are wondering, these are three of the Golden Girls from the University of Missouri. There are about 15-20 or so each year. They are a dance team that performs in conjunction with the MU cheerleaders at sporting events. This is how we grow 'em here in MO.



Also, if you think that they are cute to look at in photos, you should see them in action dancing on the Mizzou basketball court or the sidelines of the football field.

Hey J,

Thanks for the update. The Orange County Marketplace/Fairgrounds location is a great place for hot rod/truck events. It is centrally located, next door to a major freeway with its own off ramp, and there is a ton of junk food nearby. (as well as some great restaurants, too.) The big Newport Beach Harbor is just a short drive West on the same freeway/street.

This is a 1924 Ford sedan. It was voted the “Best of the Show” at the first Friday Roadshow Event at the OC Marketplace in Costa Mesa, Oct. 4th, a day earlier than my HAMB photo post. I saw the Model T sedan, Friday afternoon, probably just before they took off for the nearby Costa Mesa OC Marketplace location.
