Here are some of the pictures I took at Hershey. I was there Thursday to Saturday, so the weather was good. My first stop was Hershey Lodge to look in the auction tents.
The guy with the bid box fishing trip had the car on the show field on Saturday, but without the box.
Thanks for posting! I was there and enjoy the chance to relive the experience through your pics. The '40 Coupe was an incredible survivor. I spent a lot of time discussing it with the owner.
We spectated at the auction. The Cadillac Phaeton went for $1,110,000. Cool car, but for that money, I'd rather have an ocean front house.
Headed home on the PA Turnpike. Another good year at Hershey. Been going since 1974 and have only missed 2 in about the past 35 years. One was because I got married the same weekend as Hershey (it was the only date we could get the reception venue we wanted).
Thanks for posting. J would of been a pig in sh... I want both the '55 Chevy's and all those grilles to hang on the rafters.
Dang.....thanks for posting - great shots and coverage ! The survivor car with the camp trailer we've/I have only seen in pictures - glad they both survive !
Do you know why the cars on the grass all have fire extinguishers by their front wheels. Did the event people hand them out?
.........I think it's a requirement by the AACA. I've been to other shows over the years that require you to have a fire extinguisher to display your car. Always felt it was a good idea.
Wow, awesome cross section of fine cars. On my bucket list, one day! Sent from my SM-T355Y using The H.A.M.B. mobile app
