Is this input shaft of value? I'd like to know what if fits, if possible. I got it at a sale that had lots of old auto parts in boxes. This has no box and no numbers. thumbnail (3).jpg thumbnail (4).jpg thumbnail (9).jpg thumbnail (10).jpg thumbnail (11).jpg I have no use for it other than opening walnuts. Let me know if it fits anything traditional and maybe I can get it to a new home.

    10 spline x 1"
pilot (just the shiny part) 5/8" dia x 1"
    19 tooth gear
    24 lugs
    bearing area 1 3/8"
    overall length 8 1/4"

    thanks..

I would be happy if someone could at least direct me to a catalog of transmission parts. I don't mind research, but I haven't had much finding a catalog.

The gear looks like it has some deep pitting. Probably why it got replaced. Still good clutch alignment tool.

I think I can Photoshop most of that "pitting" out. Just kidding! I should have cleaned the part before I took the picture. Most of it wiped off with a rag. I'll wash the part and re-shoot the pic tomorrow.

    Anyone else have any info?

    thx

Look in the classifieds in the parts section. Cliff Ramsdel(?) has one for sale similar to it.

Sure looks like input shaft for Ford T5 WC, but not in the best shape.

Thanks for the tip stanlow. It's not a match, but now I have some new places to look.

Wow! It does look like the T5. But I haven't been able to find a T5 with 19 teeth. Also, the lengths are mostly an inch longer that mine (where have I heard that before?).

    The search goes on.

I've been gone a few days, thought maybe there was some new info on this.

Does anyone have a link to a company that makes trans gears? I'd hate to just throw this away.

    thx.

  14. Won't take up much room.Have you tried any trans shops?
