The vintage microphone is the Astatic JT-30, the choice of great harmonica players because of its shape that fits the palm ( minus the base ) and the quality of how its made. The smaller grille section is from a Packard, and the bigger grille section is from a 37 Old's. The aircraft is a Lockheed model 10.

Hey @BigO , being a Banger pilot/hand signaler, that would really help visibility! Sweet piece!

It does look better (less worse?) but you still need a whole lot of rouge and eye shadow. I think the basic problem is in trying to meld two entirely different design styles and neither one having dominance.

Thank you for the positive thoughts and yes it's really actually like taking what we deem incredibly off and trying to pull something visually appealing and that is subjective and even more so here...I might work it further but I'm beat and even had a crash and lost about 50 layers...

Save Your Work Hamber's Lucky I saved a couple of Samples...but long day...

I seriously give the Guy Credit...it isn't easy stepping into a Designers Shoes...There is a lot of historical things to glean from Walking in a Custom/Hotrod Builders shoes...I think he missed the mark but not by a large margin...there have been many other failures along the incredibly diverse traditional pathway...or shall I say in respect to those that seriously attempt going back and being in ones vintage shoes...

I put many hours into this and have a fairly understanding Eye and even listened to comments and was also disturbed by some things said...The thread was closed and deemed a Shock Build but there is vintage innocence here to what essentially Barris did. All his work isn't Eye Candy either...Yes they were Artists of Their Craft...

There's Many Talents Here That Excel in That Creation as Great as the Greats Right Here

I Don't Bend Metal But at the Photoshop Drafting board combined with My Artful Hotrod/Custom mind I work with my Own and Others Art here and Literally Feel like a Vintage Custom/Hotrod Creator/Modifier...Traditional is a form of Assumed Plagiarism...with a No Walls but lots of opinion...

I see Many absolutely Stunning Hotrods and Customs Flamed here so its incredible the power of perception and tradition and inspiration...

Sorry Long Winded I'll post another Artwork in Respect...:D

I had fun with this one below...I can see it doing the Little Red Wagon down the Strip just looking at it.

Great Shots Fellow Artist CT...that must have been fun...I've been to Hershey once in the late 70s...

75EA9260-917A-4F89-B889-D152CD0150AE.jpeg Car is not HAMB friendly but the pic made me laugh. A buddy bought the landscape painting at a garage sale. A friend painted in the General flying through. Makes for a conversation starter hanging on the wall.
