61 Falcon two door wagon, black with red/white interior. A rumbly small block spinning a 4 speed would do just fine.

  18. There are several that I had the opportunity to buy, but didn't have the space to store them. I have owned my bucket list truck since 1968, owned a 64 Corvette Coupe, Mercedes 190SL, 67 Toronado, and many more.
I have had the opportunity to buy all the desirable (to me) cars at one time or another, while they were still inexpensive. So, no regrets.

Yea, i've done some pretty stupid things in my life, but not grabbing this was at the top of the list. I've beat myself up over this and still remember when it resided down the street from me when I was a kid. BADDEST HOT ROD EVER.

Dang that could work into a long list.
The short list of Hamb friendly rides would read:
    57 Buick Caballero Estate wagon
57 Olds 4 door hardtop wagon
    56 Chevy 3100 big window.
49/50/51/52 or 53 Cadillac two door hardtop. Pre wrap around windshield.

deuce 5 window, ever since American Graffiti. So far out of my budget it will never happen. I did find a 31 Chevy coupe so at least I've got a five window coupe.

I was 16 when I first came face to face with a 57 Rambler Rebel. It was love at first sight. In all these years I've only seen one other one and I missed out when that came up for sale ... sigh

Now that I may be nearing the ed of my driving days they'll probably pop up like crazy.

Always had a big list of "I love to have that" cars. The top three had always been 51 Merc, 55 Chevy and 41 Willys coupe. Got the 51 and the 55 even though its a sedan and the dream car was a hardtop. But the 41 has never revealed itself and I don't think it ever will. For the last 50 years I have only come across two that I would want and the prices where always to far out of reach for a project car. And Danny my first ride in a hot car was 1969, I was 14 and it was my Uncle Doug's 55 with a 327, 4spd, with a factory dual quad set up and 64 SS bucket seats. Parked next to it was my aunts 64 Impala SS hardtop. I had to smile the first time I saw a picture of Doug Cook of SW&C , add glasses and you had my uncle Doug! lol I have had a lot of my dream cars over the years so no complaints. Larry

Still want a '53 Stude! Worked on 6 or 7 of them one year, all my friends had 'em. I converted all of them to Stude pickup floor shifts, (they had 286 toploader cases) took the p/u tower.
Older co-worker at Cadillac Oldsmobile had a tomato red/black '53 Stude President, in 1958 he transplanted a NEW over the counter '57 El Dorado into it, with the tri-carb setup. Called it his 'Studillac', after a HRM story...Mel Wignall was his name.
