Looking to buy a complete front suspension kit for my hot rod build. There's a few to choose from. And there seems to be a big range in price for the same kit. Is there a lot of difference in quality. I've looked at TCI and RHD and a few others There's a large difference in price for the same amount of parts. Any recommendations would be great.

  2. Are you looking at "traditional" beam axle? (Make sure it's forged).
Are you looking at Mustang II style? (Probably not the correct forum)

I'm looking at traditional beam axle complete kit including rotors and brakes.

  4. Yes, more info needed. Fenders or not? "A" frame or '32?

  5. And what wheels?

I have a complete TCI chassis under my 1930 sedan- Really nice product. It came with the car when i bought it as a project so i'm not exactly sure how expensive their stuff is new but it works great.

  9. Maybe you should ask on a less helpful forum,
These guys just appear to be trying to get a feel for what you are building,
then your answers to your questions may start flowing in!

  10. if I read the question right, the guy is just asking for the time, not how to fix the clock...…..

I got everything from Pete and Jakes and used Ford brakes.
I think searching through other people’s build threads will be helpful, then when you find a car you like you can copy the parts list or frame style to build your own . I found my self reading a ton of info before trying to put something together .

  12. ...........Everyone is just trying to get a feel for what you are dealing with, so yes, their questions and responses have everything to do with your inquiry.
