Looking for information on this cool 1934 Ford roadster hotrod/custom..Was an older hotrod updated to a late 50's early 60's custom/rod.

    Details about it..
The 34 has wild custom two tone green panels painted on with white pinstriped outlines..There is also lots of white pinstriped accents throughout the car. It has custom front fenders that were rounded off to meet the lower cowl. The rocker panels were removed and the lower cowl and quarters were modified to match..there were custom running boards attached to the frame just below the door which are no longer there but the brackets remain..The stock gas tank is moved inside the trunk and the rear pan has the gas tank hole filled in.Cowl vent has been filled and shaved where the stock windshield stantions and cowl lights would have been.Outside door handles are shaved..Guide 904a headlights and 39 Ford taillights were added.Grille has a custom"mesh" center of unknown origin.
The interior is done in mint green with fitted carpets and custom panels throughout. It has a custom dash with vintage SW gages. A radio is mounted underneath the rear package tray.
Currently it has a 322 Buick Nailhead in it but it appears the conversion was never completed. A '39 Ford transmission and stock rear end complete the driveline.Hydraulic brakes have been added with a firewall mounted master cylinder with a custom brake pedal assembly made from a '40 Ford pedal setup.

Last owner was Ray Patricco from Irvington,NJ who has passed away in 2018..Story is that he bought the car with the intention of restoring it but it never was to be..Car supposedly was from the Union/Passaic County area of NJ..Prior to Mr. Patricca ownership the car was a flathead powered hotrod with dark colored paint(possibly black or dark green) with a black canvas top(came with car) and had a Duvall windshield.Holes in cowl that have been filled confirm it had a Duvall..
If anyone can shed some light as to where this car was built or who owned it, we would greatly appreciate it! 71732327_2969831809697748_4314475565739409408_o.jpg 71389949_2969831896364406_2038809808496230400_o.jpg 71349634_2969831746364421_5103178350382284800_o.jpg 71309896_2969832189697710_7056005546427547648_o.jpg

Cool car, It might be time for guys to dig out the east coast little books from the 50's and early 60's.
For me it would have to go back to a dark color. Depending on the condition of the interior maybe a super dark green.

  6. Hope you put another Duvall back on that b*tch. Nice. You've been on a roll, lately. Several cool discoveries, thus far.

924323A6-DFB8-45A4-B41C-3E67C5F8A51B.jpeg So here’s a nice update on our little roadster! I was able to track down Ray Patriccos wife Elaine who filled in some of the back story on the car. She told me that Ray bought the car in 1957 when he was 15 years old! I was able to get a picture of the car when he first got it and you can see the black canvass top (which is still with the car)and the “v” windshield.also the custom front fenders and filled rear apron are evident. The “percolater “ headlights and mercury wheels are there as well. The story I got was young ray wanted a full custom rod in the early 60’s traditions which he set out to build adding the wild paint job and rolled and pleated interior.
