Hamber @HerMink has an inspired Vintage Hotrod progressing in an exceptional way and Guess What?...Yepp...It has Louvers...I guess they are still popular with 1965 and down Historically and always will be...He not only has a handle on capturing the flavour of vintage he captures it well in film...here are a few that caught my eye...Check out his build you won't be disappointed...;)

...Ya gotta be happy with those Luke...they look great...;)

Just a heads up All...Luke and many here have hand punched their own louvers using home crafted methods many showcased in Tech threads here and there.

@tb33anda3rd posted one of the tech threads at link below by Hamber @-Brent-

...Interestingly connected is a pic Brent posted in his opening post is Hamber @HomemadeHardtop57's Cyclone Racing Hotrod which actually is inspired Vintage Hand Punched Louver from a Set of Homemade Louver Punch and Die created and passed on by Hamber @Eli603 who is quite the Vintage Hotrodder himself...

He has perfected the Art of many styles of Louvering...There are many more with this Craft here and you Hamber's who perfect your own Much Praise...;)

Those look awesome Louis. Thanks for sharing the pics and the LouverSmith...There are always Hambers looking to have this done and due to workload and skill-set subbing out this process is quite common...

I have followed your inspiring build and you may have mentioned and shared the process but are those panels held in place with the very Traditional Aviation related Dzus Fasteners? I notice the Holes are dimpled as well indicating a countersunk style fastener may be used with that dimple allowing a flush condition to exist.

It is the non-self ejecting style of dzus fasteners for the side panels and tool box latches for the top.

    Thanks,
