I am hoping to finish the engine in the next couple weeks. Got a deal worked with a buddy to media blast the body and frame. Then another friend is chomping at the bit to primer it and start some of the body work

Haven't forgotten this project, just been side tracked with life for awhile and working on another project. The engine is together. Transmission is ready to be bolted up and slid into the car. KIMG0400.JPG

Thanks Carl. Been busy with work and getting a real job after the coast guard. Also picked up a couple toys that are keeping me busy. But still slowly working on the gasser.

Trying to decide gearing. With the B&M having a super deep first gear don't need a real deep gear in the rearend. Thinking possibly running a 3.7 or 3.9. What you guys think?

Gear it so you'll be at peak power through the traps. No need to have excess miles per hour that you'll never see unless you run it out into the shut off area. Use it up through the 1/4 mile.
