Event Coverage Mooneyes Xmas Party 2019 - at Santa Anita Park?

I just read that this year's Mooneyes Xmas Party will be held at Santa Anita Race Track in Arcadia, and not at Irwindale Raceway. Anybody know if there will be drag racing this year? The parking lot south of the track seems like it'd be large enough to do a 1/8th mile track. Any info?

Do some roundy-round racing..!
The horses are breaking their legs, need to do something with a track that may no longer race horses on in the future. At least that's what some want.

No drag racing, one less spectator here...

Agreed. The drag racing is the attraction for me. Without that, it's just another car show.

Just checked their Facebook site and it looks like Santa Anita fell through. Looks like the show’s off for this year.

 

Anyone know why Irwindale is out ?

There's always Fontana if they need more space.

Irwindale is still hosting drags, there is no way Santa Anita could host drags.

Irwindale is filming a movie during November.

 

Heard today it's going to be at Mooneyes in Santa Fe Springs on Dec. 7th according to their IG feed.
