Event Coverage Hershey 2019 who’s going

We have just arrived in town for our first Hershey, so pretty excited about that!

Luckily we're travelling with BenD so will have some good insider knowledge to help us out.

 

Stop buy C4J 33-42 and say hello to the Connecticut HAMB family. Leaving in 3 hours, and the excitement is the same as it was in 1969, wish Dad was still here and going. Lot of old timers looking over us this year. Bob

 

It has rained all night. We could have used rain a month ago. WTF.

 

Almost ready to head out for my 8 hr drive. Looking forward to driving through the mountains of NY and PA. Some of my dad's relatives live in Mechanicsburg.

Arrived 1/2 hr ago. Now to figure out the logistics of getting to the event tomorrow.

 

Where are you staying? They run shuttle busses to some hotels.

 

Well the forecast for tomorrow isn't too bad. Wet in the morning then better.

 

On our way now. Hopefully find some good deals! It's been a few years since I've gotten to go.

 

Weather was PERFECT today!!

 

Yep, weather turned out to be great. I'm about 20 mins from the show, but no big deal. Walked almost the whole show. Got there at 7:00, but most vendors weren't ready until about 9:00. Got some stuff, but was hesitant to pick up some aftermarket heads for my flathead. Most of the stuff looks too suspect for me. There was a nice Thickstun 2x2 intake for a decent price, but someone had bored a 1" hole in it. D'oh.

 

I put in my miles today.
