To me they will look way out of place..I wouldn'd use them and sell to a guy doing an early 50's Chev or a 55-56 Ford custom..

The pic @Squablow referred to in the link posted above looks very good, in spite of the fogging. However, I think you would need most of the upper half of Olds fenders to really capture the rounded contour that is essential to the 'look'.

Probably easier to just fabricate the transition from fender to bezel.

That looks really good. I didn't think it would, but seeing it I love it.

Those construction photos are great Sancho, I remember being pretty struck by this car the first time I saw it. It doesn't look like a '57 Chevy, but it does look good, I like it. Nothing is off the table when it comes to customs, as far as I'm concerned. It's a shame Brewsir hasn't been around lately, we could really use some more custom influence around here these days.

I am always happy to see the positive knowledge base in action here...great dot connection @Squablow

The x's and blurring...a travesty...I was going through a couple of older threads...very sad...I have however reposted good copies of lost or blurred stuff as a get around...It may be out of sync but it returns something lost to corporate change...

@Sancho, if you hadn't post the build pics, The fender mods would have not registered...just me...:D...hey thanks for the link and pics...

@subjectdelta, Great Idea...I say go for it...please share the Journey with lots of pics...psssssssst....Don't use Photobucket...;)
