I have a nice pair of orig but you need to buy a drake cover for it they look fine when installed correctly

Good luck. Finding what you desire will be extremely difficult. The Drake covers fit fine.. Easy to install.
Was the way the mount was installed or was the Borgeson part itself defective.....if the later don't they have some sort of warranty that may help defray the cost?.......andyd
I've used the Drake covers on 1940 Fords on the past and I have had the vulcanized boards, the factory style boards are a lot more expensive but worth it IMHO. HRP
Curious too, about what to look for concerning the Borgeson mount problem; we're going to do the final assy of Mike's steering in the coming weeks and their mount was used during the mock-up.

You need to explain/show how the column mount caused your accident, since you're blaming a well respected supplier in your accident post.
I'm trying to picture in my head how the mount coming apart can cause total loss of steering. I can understand any part failure, it happens. That part going away would let the column move around on the floor but unless you lost a shaft section at a U-Joint how did you loose steering?
I would really like to know what happened, I have Borgeson steering joints on my old sedan and don't what the experience a failure, what do I need to check? HRP
