I know, I could have just added to the existing thread exalting this fine column. I'm singing from the rooftops fellas. All of us enjoyed reading Pat's stuff for Decades in columns and multiple books. We all also know he's retired, and contributes here from time to time with his own stuff. But of course, he's out there enjoying aforementioned stuff. For those that haven't seen it, he does a column for Bill Ganahl's South City Rod and Custom shop website. Each column is absolute gold for arguably any gearhead. It's not always OT from a HAMB standpoint, but they are all spectacular from an historical one. Check it out; https://patganahl.com/2019/09/30/lowrider-roses/ Subscribe! It's free! I'm not even being a little bit altruistic here, I fear if he doesn't get enough subscribers, it may draw to an end.
I have the Site saved and yeah he was right in the Thick of All things Hotrod for sure and it's even better he's on Board here...He is wealth of information and the history...Thanks for sharing that @brad2v
If you sign up on the site, they will send you an email with a link to each article when it is published. No need to check the site. Phil
Have all his columns saved under R 'n C, I thought that to be appropriate. All his stuff is worth a read! Thanks, Pat.
It sure is. It's like getting to sit in a buddy's living room while he pulls out photo albums. Except they're Pat Ganahl's photo albums, so a wee bit more extensive than your local hot rodder buddy.
