image.jpg I seen this one over a decade ago in Wellington. At the time I thought it was a 32 but I am starting to wonder if it’s a 33.
I believe the cowl is the same that the 32/33/34 Roadster Pickups, buses and fire trucks use. I also have this cowl as well.

  7. Well, it has the slanted back radiator shell like a 33-34 USA build Ford truck. Not sure about Aussie years but I would call it a 33.

  10. I think I have learned that if I don't get them running in over 30 years that I probably will never do it, so I sell them.

I wonder if anyone has ever made an offer that is close to what it is worth. It's sad to see a 32 rot away like that!!

Regarding the 32, the huge dent in the door is where a tree fell on it 4 or 5 years ago.
Theres a "glass T bucket" in the shop that only needed wiring that's going down fast and a nice 56 Ford with a bad paint job. I doubt they'll ever see the streets again. Good guy that's been a hot rodder his entire life, but at 86-88 years young just cant seem to get around to the projects, but "selling" is just not a consideration.

  16. I try to never reply with a negative response. But I've been a Hot Rodder my entire life also. I'll never get around to all my project cars either. But there's never been a time in my life, that I could let a 32 roadster sit rusting in the woods! It would at the least be hanging inside. Than again, what project could ever trump a 32 roadster anyway! I'm not knocking anyone for what they do with their cars. But It's just hard for me to understand it. Thanks for your post. :) Ron............

I could name 10 cars right off the top off my head that I would build instead of a 32 roadster......but then I've never felt the urge to buy a Ford in my life either.

  18. Sam (rusty1) here's one for you. Spotted it on a farm. Looks to be still in use. Cool.:) 20190817_174336.jpeg 20190817_171348.jpeg

I did once. Asked for forgiveness. Granted.

  20. That '56 Chevy farm truck probably has very low mileage on it. I've seen trucks older than that still being used on farms. A girl I went to school with grew up on a big farm--she learned to drive around the farm when she was 11 years old on a '37 Ford 1 1/2 ton flatbed.

Can't remember if I posted this one I found behind a garage years ago and didn't save for the lack of money at the time and by far the rarest of all the cars I came across : a 55 Ford Vedette before they got built under the Simca brand, only for a couple months and a production of just 2100

This XK120 roadster is getting saved in I believe Yugoslavia
    [IMG]
This Delahaye 135 M cabriolet Chapron is getting saved also, it sold for quite a lot of money. I posted it on here before removing it a couple days later some years ago.

  25. Barn hunter, great finds. There's lots of vintage tin still out there, I spotted this Edsel more door this week. Looks to be in pretty good shape. It would make a Cool, and cheap family driver. Ron...... 20191001_224703.jpeg 20191001_224722.jpeg

Hey, Ron....they are out there if you just look. Asking prices....Edsel more door 5000, 58 and 56 Fords 6500 each, both trucks for 5000. I can find much better deals. These are going to sit for quite a while.

This Chevy has been sitting in the same spot for over 5 years. It was a really nice truck when it was parked there. Still looks decent for now from a distance.
