I bought some "patina" vaguely shaped like 1949 f3 yesterday. Since non of the wheel s wanted to roll it took a tractor to move it on to my trailer, lifting/dragging.
So my question is any suggestion on freeing rims up? I'm not opposed to any methods no matter how destructive as long as I can roll when I'm done.

  2. back off the brake adjustment.

  3. Brakes are most likely locked on.

    Remove the wheels
And get the drums off !
    Back off the adjusters
Remove the wheel bearings in the front and pry pull wiggle

Sometimes a few strategically placed hammer blows pops the drum off easily.

I cut the brake drums with a cutoff wheel and removed the hub to remove the center then reassemble the hub, it worked for me

your welcome. The drum cut pretty fast . luckily I only had one to do, the rest I could pound free.

You could cut the adjusters out with a torch from the backside

For future searchers...I followed Bill's advice on the rear brakes. I tried a different approach for the fronts.
Cut two slots and drive wedges in, seemed to work.
Now how do I fix the misspelling of the title?....
    Edit. Fixed it.

I have always had good luck , drilling 4 equally spaced holes against the hub where the drum rests . Lube the hell out of it , use a chisel and cut the anchor pins off . In a bit of BFH work , they usually pop free . I’m in need of 2 F2 or larger backing plates if you locate any while parts hunting also .

On the threads you started, there is a "dropdown" called "Thread Tools" on the top of the first page towards the right side. You can use that to fix the title of the thread.
