I have always wanted a 32 Ford 5 Window Coupe. Four years ago I bought one but didn't post any information here because it was a glass body. About a year ago a friend approached me saying he was selling his when he turned 80. Is that the magic age? I told him I was interested but would have to sell my glass one first. Just before I went to Bonneville he contacted me informing me he just turned 80 and wanted to get the deal done. As soon as I got back I got serious trying to figure out where I was going to get the cash to do the deal. Out of the blue a guy called and within a few hours he bought the coupe. That was on a Friday and by Monday I bought then new one and it is all Henry all the way. So excited to finally have my dream car after 60 years waiting. The interior is done in black leather by a good friend Herb Gehilkin. You may recognize that name from his articles he wrote for many magazines in the 70-80's. He was evolved with Street Rodder Magazine. The engine is done in old school style. 350 with 350 Turbo and 9” rear. Paint is Tractor Suppy Acrylic Enamel with a flattener. Wheels are Halibrand.
Really nice 32 Ford ride.Congrats also. I'm 80 last April, and I'll have mine 34 (in the Avitar ) hopefully until my last day on this earth.
