Great project, looking forward to see the final car! Could you give me some details about the dash removal from the car? I'm thinking to paint my 48' fleetmaster dash, does it take a lot of time to remove yours? Are the gauges on the left side the original ones?

The dash is very easy to remove. Held in with screws along the top and bolted on the bottom with a brace in the middle. Gauges are refurbished original.
Chopolds hopefully next summer. Still getting work done at paint shop. Made the mistake of telling painter wasn't in a huge hurry. LOL

  3. Looking GOOD!
You mentioned earlier that you picked up glass lenses for '50 Buick tail lights. May I ask from where?

    Thanks

Picking up the rear window exterior trim for it. Mine originally had no trim thinking with the shiny paint it will look better. I am now searching for the windshield trim.

Wow, your thread is like a book you can't put down. Ripped right through 7 pages in no time LOL.

You obviously had a clear vision for this build.
    Good vision!

I'm loving the Mopar Hemi in the Chevy way more than I would a Chevy in a Mopar LOL.

Well stopped by my buddies body shop. Door gaps are looking awesome. Shaved the door locks and molded the fender extension in. KIMG0345.jpeg KIMG0346.jpeg

Stopped off today and installed the 1.5 drop coils on the front and put on the tires I plan on running so my buddy can modify the fenders. No engine in it now so sits high in the nose. KIMG0465.jpeg KIMG0464.jpeg
